Not much new to report. Been another tough couple of weeks at work as the end of Graduation season comes on. Phone system went down at work. Online purchasing is still rough around the edges, with things to repair left and right to tweak it to work just right. Next couple of weeks we face the challenge of installing all new computers at work for the first time since probably 6 years or so ago. That should be a fun disaster. At least our work phones are slowly but surely being repaired (another thing that is harder to fix than one might suspect). Sometimes it makes me feel like computer technology really wasn't the time-saving major advancement that we tend to give it credit for...
Home and social life is good. Been seeing movies fairly consistently (Mr. & Mrs. Smith was decent). J&J's wedding is this weekend, which should be fun and interesting. Going to Vegas for 4th of July, and San Diego Comic Con shortly after that. So, life should be busy shortly.
Some interesting tidbits in the news. Turns out Kerry was hiding his military record for totally different reasons than everyone thought at the time. It had nothing to do with his Viet Nam war record...but his grades, which were part of the record. Turns out he had nearly the exact same grades as Bush, from the same University (Yale). Technically, he averaged out to a point less than Bush...but close enough. Makes me laugh to think about it...not that either persons grades from 30+ years ago should matter now for anything, even the Presidency.
Brief Tsunami warning scare had us a bit jumpy. Lots of earthquakes lately. Time to update our earthquake preparedness kits.
I was feeling all guilty about not updating my journal more than 2 a month or so, but an experiece blogger I know said that's actually fairly typical. Well, for once, I'm glad to be typical :) See you in two weeks, or less I hope.
