I have not posted much lately. Here is a brief summary...

1) Got in a minor car accident. Was rear ended while in near-stop traffic on the freeway. My bumper is a bit damaged. Long story short, the guy who hit me tried to run (hard to do in 5mph traffic), had to call the cops to convince him to stay, tried to weasel on paying, and now MIGHT be finally paying for the damage.

2) Saw some good movies lately, like: Narnia, King Kong, Walk the Line, Harry Potter. Also saw Aeon Flux, which was just okay. Recently calculated how much we are spending on movies every year ($10.50 per ticket at the theatre across the street), and might decide to buy a gift book of 50 tickets for $250. Sounds like a lot, but it would actually save us a lot of money.

3) Work is a bit hectic because too many people are out sick lately.

4) Life is a bit hectic because: holiday shopping has taken it's toll on both Melody and I, Dorian (see below), several of our friends are going through some tough times, and I've been sick the last couple of days (probably just a cold, but enough to give me a low-grade fever for a couple of days and make me sleep 16 hours a day). At least the cold seems to be getting better, and holiday shopping is almost over (one way or the other). Oh, and the Christmas Tree is up, and decorated, and it looks good. So, some things are looking up.

5) Dorian (one of our two cats) has been sick. Throwing up every day sick, until we brought him to the vet. $900 later the vet has no answer for what is wrong with him, other than to feed him softer food and give him anti-throwing-up medicine for a while. He was pretty darn miserable for a long time from the vet experience (two days there), but he seems to be slowly getting better.

Well, that's all the news that's fit to print.
