Brokeback Mountain

We saw Brokeback Mountain. Pretty good movie. Ang Lee has a real feel for fantastic landscape scenes, and he shows again why he is considered an excellent director. Acting was quite solid, and I can see why people are raving about Heath Ledger's range, given his role in Casanova compared to this one.

I am not sure if I would give Brokeback the academy award for best picture (like all the buzz is suggesting), however I think it deserves to be up there in the small group of best movies for the year.
